We grew up on opposite sides of the world: British Columbia and Ecuador, but somehow found our way to the same path.

What started as a shared love for storytelling quickly became something deeper. Filmmaking brought us together, and over time, that collaboration became our own love story.

Having lived it ourselves as a married couple, we understand how meaningful this chapter of life is.

That perspective shapes how we approach every wedding: with care and intention.

Because of that, it never feels like just a job.

Aidan has spent over 15 years working as a filmmaker, with a background in narrative film, commercial production, and documentary work. He noticed early on that most wedding videos followed a formula: documenting the day's timeline but never capturing the feeling of being there. Peace of Mind Pictures was built to change that.

Dayliz's background in portrait, documentary, and landscape photography, with filmmaking experience from her YouTube channel, has shaped her eye for authentic, unscripted moments, which go into everything we create together.

When we’re not filming weddings, you can find us out in nature, climbing, hiking, exploring, and creating films along the way. That sense of adventure and appreciation for real, unscripted moments carries into everything we create.
